2010 Star of the North Meeting
The 2010 Star of the North Meeting was a great success, with over 9,120 dental professionals taking part in our three-day scientific session and two-day trade show. This years' conference featured the very best in speakers, dental technology, supplies, and services. Over 8,500 tickets were provided for FREE programs throughout the three days of the conference. Attendees were buzzing about the information learned from our esteemed line-up of speakers.
New this year was the Exhibit Hall Premiere Night on Thursday evening. This special event provided dentists with exclusive access to the exhibit floor in a relaxed environment featuring complimentary wine and beer. Both the exhibitors and dentists appreciated this one-on-one time without any competing education or social events. More than 2,500 dental professionals arrived early on Friday morning to hear an inspiring message by our keynote presenter, Dr. Robert Ballard, famed oceanographer and discoverer of the RMS Titanic. His riveting presentation had the audience mesmerized and yearning to learn more about our planet's oceans. Attendees were able to relax and unwind after a long day of continuing education at the Starlight Celebration. Dozens of door prizes were given away. Congratulations to our Grand Prize Winner, Dr. Aaron Johnson, who won a $2500 travel gift certificate plus $500 spending money.

We have made electronic CE Verification available through our registration company. If you did not obtain your CE attendance verification at the meeting, you may do it online until November 1, 2010. You will need your Star of the North badge number, along with the completion code numbers for any open attendance courses you attended. You will want to produce this verification to keep with your records or if you need to track your credits for credentialing or other purposes. It's easy, and it's free through November 1.
